Gli Oleandri is a one bedroom independent villa with a pool set in the rural countryside around Alghero. It has the same owners as the nearby popular Casa Eucalipti and is a haven of peace and tranquility.
This part of the north western Sardinia is wine and olive oil country and the area around Gli Oleandri is dressed in acres of winding vinelands and broad swatches of olive groves. This fertilility extends to the grounds of the property too with squat pines, juicy medlars and banana plants in the private garden at the front which is lovingly maintained by the owners.
The pool area is spacious and catches the sun all day long and if you’re looking to escape the heat for a while there are covered terraces at each end of the property. There is also a deliciously warm solarium at the front of the house, looking out over the gardens, and this is the ideal place to enjoy breakfast or simply to sit and snooze.
The interior of the property is open-plan and fairly compact but the whitewashed walls and light blue kitchen units add a real sense of freshness. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area, grouped around a fireplace, is ideal for those long lunches and evening meals.
Gli Oleandri is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing holiday and yet is also close enough to be able to enjoy the delights of Alghero.
